REST IN PEACE
Today marks the day of a new year... And the departure of our dearly beloved family cat, Rooney.
Sigh... How I wish I was there throughout his last breaths. Only my family got the chance to witness him dying. And as how mum had described to me, his 'nazak' seemed suffering. Idky it would be since he's a cat free of sins unlike humans but it's just so devastating that he's forever gone. I guess it truly is already time for him to leave us. 11 cat years young equals to 61 human years old. He's already an old kitty. He was the first we ever owned. The first we ever loved and pampered. Then the other cats joined in and he didn't like it. He hated new cats, especially kittens. And after about 5 years we had to give away every other kitty except him. Cause he's special. He got to experience a baby in the house. And it gives me giggles thinking how he'd runaway from Ray everytime we bring them together. He's so afraid, or perhaps shy. And also, how he loved chewing on plastic flowers and leaves off of fake plants on table tops. Chilling in the toilet was his hobby. I guess he enjoyed the cool ground and he'd catch water droplets from taps. I guess he got a thrill in doing so. It is rather silly and gets me laughing all the way but sigh.... He was awesome. Oh and not forgetting, how I'd scare him silly by making smooching sounds and the way he reacted, was just epic. And it kills me knowing how he left so early when I have always prayed for his health and lengthy life.
Rooney. I'm sorry Ray and I weren't there to say goodbye. It really breaks my heart and I have yet to breakdown and cry on this matter. Still holding back the tears.. Trying to stay strong. A start of the new year expecting surrounding happiness and you just have to go. But it's okay. You have been a great cat and we love you countless.. Eventhough you're just a local breed, you're the cutest ever!
As I heave a heavy sigh, I pray Al-fatihah for you. Rest in peace ♥
